Norman Office Position Available

Job Title: Pre-Certification Coordinator-Norman

Primary Qualifications & Skills: 

-Bachelors degree in Family Services or a related field OR 3 years experience in a related field.

-Proficient with technology

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Summary: 

Pre-Certification Coordinator is responsible for recruiting new foster families to Angels FFN and walking with potential foster parents through the certification process.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties: 

-Coordinate and attend recruitment events

-Keeping track of inquiries interested in fostering-via phone, email, face to face meetings

-Hold one-on-one orientations, to support and encourage families in their decision and answer their questions

-Entering family information in to our database and maintain family’s paper files

-Staffing when needed with certification committee

-Working directly with Pre-Certification Director of Edmond on recruitment projects and certification

-Coordinating with our Training Facilitator for families training needs

-Maintaining regular office hours to be available for impromptu phone calls and meetings

-Answering phones and doors when needed

-Doing small tasks around the office such as occasional upkeep or getting supplies

-Receiving donations for the agency and occasionally sorting them or working with Project Coordinator to get volunteers to help

-Work with Project Coordinator to put on events for Norman foster families

-Being available to help case workers with files and questions

Additional Qualifications:




-Good time management skills


-Team mentality but ability to work independently

-Ability to navigate difficult conversations

Work Conditions: 

-Office hours would be 9-5 Monday through Friday, 12 months a year

-Occasional night and weekend events
